Idk if you'd call it 'range' but the idiot in Burn wasn't the same as the savvy confidence in Fight Club. I think it came across. Admittedly, Killing Them Softly was pretty much Tyler Durden without the redemption of any heroic motivation, so I see what you're saying, but I still like his flicks. Maybe he just gets good scripts.
