Terrell Suggs came back from a torn achilles in five months. He's 280 pounds. Kobe will be fine.

yeah, Kobe was already needing to fly to germany for some kind of secret 'treatment' to return so young at his age.  He's about to turn 35, he's been in the league EIGHTEEN YEARS.

I think he'll TALK a mean fight for the next year about his comeback, etc, but I also think he's smart enough NOT to return as an average player.  Once he gets fat and counts his money and the season ends and the Lakers don't have a spot for him...

I think Kobe will retire.  We'll never see him on the court again.   He won't come back to be schooled by John Wall lol...

Torn and complete tear are completely different, very few, if any recover from a complete snap.

his jumper will never be the same

even with top notch rehab and mental strength it just wont

my friend tore his achilles playing flag football so i'm pretty sure it was worse than basketball injuries

anyone see that video of derrick rose practicing?  slow as molasses, barely leaves the floor on jumpers now. 

i know it's just practice, but i think i get why he didn't come back... he looks entirely average... which a short player CANNOT be.  He'll be getting beat off the dribble by the likes of steve ash if/when he returns.
