Well I gotta agree with ta on his love for country living.
I would much rather live out on a few acres on a compound an hour outside the city, rather than live in the city. I can go into the city when I want to, but at the end of the day I go back to my property and I can do anything I want there. It's great to have a place that is like your own castle. I can shoot guns there, blast music anytime, build buildings anywhere on the property, got a huge dog who freely roams the place, got a huge garden full of vegetables, cherry trees, Apple's trees, peach trees.
I spent a summer on Venice beach back in the day. It's was crazy. I rented an apartment there near Santa Monica right on the beach. I wouldn't do it again though. Big city life ain't for me.
I can make just as much money and get laid just as much out in the countryside. No reason to live in the concrete jungle.
