Great Guitarist , musical genius , Composer, political commentator , all around strange guy! Lately have been obsessed listening to everything I can on you tube! Anyone else on here share my love for Zappa?

I listen to Zappa sometimes, amazing music... I wish he would have written songs without such idiotic lyrics though.

I've got 5-6 cds of his. Probably only really listen to 'We're Only in it for the Money,' and then maybe only 1x year. Hasn't aged well.

If anyone is interested, lots of stuff on You Tube, Zappa playing Zappa,Dweezil and some of the old Band members like Tery Bozzio performing various places! Dweezil is a damn good guitarist!

zappa was part of the laurel canyon group in which many of the bands of the 60s were out of laurel canyon and their fathers were all high level military ops, zappas dad i forget exactly what he did, scientist for the gov or some shit, check it out...........google, the strange but true story of laurel canyon.

i heard he had some great music some of it is shitty but ive heard some bad ass tunes out of that band

Zappa grew up in Lancaster Ca, his father was a research Chemist for the Military! He later moved to Laurel Canyon!
