I'm all for holding enemy combatants captured on the battlefield without Miranda rights.  It's a war not police matter. 

However, I think any us citizen on us soil should get due process.  I don't care what he did, where he came from, or how long he has been a citizen.  In my book a US citizen is a US citizen is a US citizen.  I thought that was the point  of the Bill of Rights.  Especially now that we are liberally interpreting "national security issues" as Hugo Chavez mentioned in another thread.
