Root Causes Of Terrorism and Americas Response
« on: April 20, 2013, 10:25:20 AM »
Two things that should be highlighted in the wake of the Boston tragedy;

(1) Bullying; It seems obvious that this led to the Boston attacks. The younger brother repeatedly mentioned that he didn't have any American friends.

(2) Contact Sports; The older brother was a boxer. The younger brother apparently wrestled and was into sports. The aggressive nature of these activities undoubtedly led to the Boston attacks because they encourage violent behavior.Both brothers could also have been suffering from some sort of post concussion syndrome psychosis from an undiagnosed head injury. As we see in the NFL, repeated blows to the head drives most people insane.

There should be a government program implemented in schools across the United States which forces all young people to be friends with one another and there should be a 5 year moratorium on all contact sports until scientists can determine whether a link exists between contact sports and acts of extreme violence.

Fundamentalism is the root cause and we're never going to address it, as a culture, due to political correctness.
