Police perform house-to-house raids in Watertown MA ripping innocent families from their homes

WATERTOWN, MA -- On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.

What struck me as totally surreal, was the news coverage of all the people cheering.
Whether authentic or spin, it was presented as people cheering the people for the successful capture.
To me that was freaking bizarre. After enduring martial law sheltering in place, one would think they might not be too happy about being treated like criminals themselves, and having their homes searched by storm police, ...let alone at 6 in the morning.

Unless maybe they were cheering that the storm troopers were finally leaving town.   :-\

Let me attempt to explain it to you. While you see storm troopers and martial law, most normal people see officers trying to catch a terrorist who threatens their lives and has already killed... I know... it's hard for you to comprehend how people could cheer police who did that , but it happens...

Well then clearly I am not "normal". When one considers the gradual degradation of rights & freedoms that people have come to unconsciously accept as "the new normal", ...my lack of "normalcy" is a state I consider preferable to being in a trance.

btw: I have no objection to police. What I consider so objectionable was the situation itself. The very fact that martial law "shelter-in-place" could be imposed like that, and people cheer their situation.
