  • TORONTO (Reuters) - Canadian police and intelligence agencies are to announce multiple arrests on Monday after an operation to thwart a "major terrorist attack," the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation said on Monday, citing unnamed "highly placed" sources.

The operation was coordinated with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI, CBC said.

How odd that at the same time in US CISPA was passed and everyone is OBLIVIOUS to it and coincidentally a 'terrorism' bill is being rushed and I mean RUSHED to be passed the same day. Both supposedly in planning for a whole year.

Overly too convinient, a repeat of history for the sheeple.

Canadian police say they have thwarted a deadly al-Qaeda-supported plan to derail a passenger train as it crossed the Whirpool Rapids Bridge connecting Canada to the United States, plunging its many would-be victims 225 feet into the raging Niagara River.

“After an extensive and complex criminal investigation,” Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) representatives said during a Monday press conference, police arrested and charged two individuals with terrorism related offenses.

The suspects have been identified as 30-year-old Chiheb Esseghaier and 35-year-old Raed Jaser of Montreal and Toronto, respectively.

Police said the men are not Canadian citizens, but wouldn’t say where they are from. They face charges of conspiring to carry out an attack and murder people in association with a terrorist group.

A source said the “Amtrak Maple Leaf line, which runs from Toronto to New York City, was targeted,” the Daily Mail notes, citing Reuters. “Canadian officials declined to confirm which trains were in the crosshairs.”

"In 2009, Saudi prince Faisal said in a press conference with Hillary Clinton that the "threat posed by Iran demanded a more immediate solution than sanctions." A statement condemned by Iranian officials."

Two armed gunmen robbed a bank on Sunday. A customer trying to play hero by trying to tackle one of the gunmen got himself and a teller shot in the process. Then on Monday, RCMP announced the arrests and foiling of the terror plot yada, yada, ...all on the back of wall-to-wall coverage of the events in the USA. The propaganda is spewing hot n' heavy up here...  the Canadian equivalent of a shock n' awe psy-op... getting the sheeple accepting of the idea of an increased intrusive security presence. ::)  ::)

The $64 Billion questions:

What constitutes "The Threat?" & "The Threat" posed to whom?

Ahem... you know it was RCMP (ie Canadian Federal police) that foiled this right?
...and that the investigation was launched due to a tip that came in from the Muslim community?
...or were you just being facetious?
