He told Mario lopez today that he went from 165 to 212 pounds for the role of a bodybuilder !!!!! was he 212 lbs in his new muscle movies Pain & Gain? ....then he said "can you imagine walking around at that weight??"...

Mark is around 5'8" so I say 185 lbs is more like it......

I'm an expert at estimating bodyweight by looking at pictures. In those photos Mark Wahlberg is exactly 211.6 pounds.

Yeah, but he still has more money combined than all of GB, and probably gets a lot more women than everyone on GB.

in the top pic he looks kind of chubbby so I say 212 with clothe on, believable if he is 5 '8, I mean contest shredded would only translate into 170

I'm 5'8 and have been that weight before. I actually believe him, especially since he already had a pretty good build to begin with. Definitely holding a lot of fat. I assume the character he is playing is a permabulker?

You gotta give walhberg credit He has stayed in pretty good shape since he was a young teen! He looked pretty diced in "THE FIGHTER". mark has looked great in many roles. all his roles has come in shape. He is easily over 210 in the first pic,he dosn't really look that bad either even though his BF% is way higher then people have usually seen him at.

He was on Stern last week. Pretty good interview. Stated that he ate 12 times a day w/ weight training to put on size for the role, and he mentioned the same weight gains at TS. The movie is about a group of meatheads with 'born loser' luck that attempt to rob a bank(s), and things go downhill from there. I also hear it's a really funny movie. The only thing I don't get about Wahlberg is that he's become a bible thumper over the last several years. Oh well, his choice.

At 5'8, natural, I've been bulked up just over 200 pounds so I can believe it if he his 212 pounds.

But for that size, if he's natural, he carries the weight well and doesn't look fat.

Though as Onetimehard says, at about 170 he would probably look his best.

I think he's in a pretty stable relationship - I actually like the guy from all the interviews I have seen with him he seems to be a cool cat.
