If he hadn't have gotten all fucked up he would have had many more wins as champ and I bet that's shit he'll regret for the rest of his life. Even with the BS that happened, it's still really hard to argue against him being the best heavyweight champion ever. hypothetically, I really don't see any other boxers in their prime going up against Tyson in his prime and winning. boxing world wise, you can't ignore the Tyson factor... He was huge.

good points but I don't think he has regrets, pushing at that inhumanly world record pace can self destruct a man, he held in there pretty good and he is legendary regardless of what happens next.

Have heard him speak about this many times, he is bipolar if he didn't get medicated ie psych drugs he would be dead! He almost overdosed numerous times on coke etc! Then again being bipolar with his boxing talent and power is what made him what he was! If he was medicated with psych drugs during those years he would have lost his aggressive edge, and probably would never have been the feared Mike Tyson that he was!
