I fly at least 4 times a month.....I would love this....but wouldn't it get dirty with mucky boots and what not very easily?

I don't think he has completed his underwater craft yet. Plus, what are they going to make the jet engines out of, glass? And if they have metal engines, how will they bolt it to the glass---it would stress the glass...unless they are just partially making the 787 out of glass, like a glass strip at the bottom.

Why not? That material is probably a lot stronger than what they put there now. Besides, if you crash into a mountain or a neighborhood it doesn't matter what is below and around you, you are hamburger.

I don't see how this would work structurally? Not to mention all the tar and burnt rubber on the runway would turn the glass black in no time.
