Man goes crazy with an assault weapon. Kills many.
Man plants bombs at major marathon. Kills many.

If we have a ban on assault weapons...
Why not a ban on muslims?

Logically equivalent.

We tried a so called ' assault weapons ' ban , it failed. They tried after Newtown to reinstate it which was ironic considering the state of Connecticut already has a so called ' assault weapons ' ban in effect. The White House and Biden admitted it wouldn't work but they have a hard-on for these rifles

Your chances of getting hit by lightening is greater than being killed in a ' mass shooting ' as is being beat to death with hands & feet than any rifle , yet they want to ban them when 90% of firearms related deaths are done with handguns , these aren't the most sophisticated people we're dealing with.

Any ' assault weapons ' ban wont stand up to Supreme Court scrutiny it's a direct violation of the Second Amendment and more so from Scalia's comments from Heller Vs D.C in respect to firearms in ' common use ' the lawsuits already started in New York

black powder ? i made that when i was 9 years old from ingredients you get any where, and if you cant get them you make them.

I think we need to get huge ammounts of state police and give them rights to invade privacy if we truly want to be safe.

I used to defend Muslims and say we shouldn't judge them.

Now I see it differently. I don't hate them, but I think that they don't really fit into western society.

Let them come to the USA on vacation. But live in the USA? No fucking thanks. Deport them.

Mexicans fit into American culture a lot better.

But they take too many jobs.

Very different issue. But I am in favor of stricter citizenship requirements.
