I had a similar experience.

I was in Sydney a couple years back.

I asked Webcake if he wanted to catch up. He said sure.

Closer to the time I pm'd him. No reply.

When I was in Sydney, I pm'd him. No reply. Nothing.

So I had to savagely own him.

He has not returned to the thunder dome.

I've told you this- when QB hit the ground running in LA he is like a lion stalking his prey.  He will not stop to even sleep (hence 3am text) let alone go to an internet cafe' or reply to a phone call. He is a man on a mission and is willing to take extraordinary risks ( well calculated of course) to achieve his what ever he has a bullzeye on!
