Oh look, I still might be right, it isn't over. You little gimmicks need should know that I'm rarely wrong and when I am I admit it. You..fuckface, and you're minions like "xfactor" who quick to criticize, need to think before you speak (or write). But I must remember, this is get big and the computer is the shield.

Tebow refused to play those last 2 games because he was pissy about not being named the starter.

IF he gave coach the best chance to win, you can bet your ass that coach would have started him.

From that point on, I'm sure they agreed to cut him at the worst possible time... and if he's really better now, he will get another chance.   He made 250k a game last year to sit on the bench and run 3 plays a game.  Not a bad gig... I don't exactly pity the guy.

16 is already brutal    I wonder how many people will be ruined if and when they go to 18?

He didn't refuse to play, he simply disagreed with the way he was being used on the field for wildcats.....btw, money doesn't mean everything.  Tebow wants to be out there playing to win the Super Bowl...not sitting on a bench.  The Jet under-utilized him and its a shame....its not like he's JaMarcus Russell or something....he trains like a madman and he is one of the most physically indimidating QB's around

Negative sir.  Ryan refused to play Tebow in those final two games because- if Ryan had played Tebow and the Jets had won those final two games- everyone would have known or strongly suspected that Tebow should have been starting all season and Ryan would have been fired for gross incompetence for not playing Tebow earlier.

Rex Ryan wasted him bad. I am not saying he is the next Brett Favre, but he could have helped the team way more than he did. Mark Sanchez is a scrub. Geno Smith isn't anything special either. I've seen Geno Smith play about 6-7 times in person(my ex gf went to WVU). He literally would just dump the ball off with 5 yard passes and watch his receiver/running back gain an extra 15-20 yards.

Then why is NO other team evenly remotely interested in him if the Jets "mishandled" him so badly ? If he was a true NFL Qb somebody would have snatched him up

Jacksonville is sub .500 without him.  I don't get their owner, not wanting to put warm bodies in the stands.  Stupid guy!  TT makes them at least an 8-8 club, given they'll win 1 or 2 on the road with him and beat the dogs (alotta those in the national felon league  ::)) at home

Once the league (Pats) figured out how to beat Tebow, it was over.  He had an insane lucky streak, then ended the season 1-4.... got a wounded Steelers team.

Since then, every time he's gotten in the game, he's been lame.  He was in the game for 77 plays and didn't score. He surprised people and was fairly quick at QB when they were playing prevent defense on him.

Tebow will not be effective anywhere now for one reason... he's not an accurate thrower.  He's just not.  He misses open guys all day long, and that destroys team morale.  Also, the other players weren't begging for Tebow this year, even the fans have stopped chanting his name.

Rex Ryan could care less about the QB or his entire offense for that matter.  Sanchez is ruined and Geno Smith will be too.  If Tebow's inaccurate ways could have worked anywhere it should have been NY, where his typical 2 for 15 passing day would have fit right in.

the market doesn't lie.   If Tebow was capable of doing the job, teams would be beating down his door.  He is SO popular... and teams WANT highly popular players... the league is built and marketed around popular players.  The networks would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Brady/Tebow showdowns in the playoffs.  They TRIED it last year with all the ads before Pats demolished the Broncos.

Tebow works hard, but so do a lot of other NFL players who were cut this year.   Tebow took 55 snaps and was in for 77 plays, and made 4.1 million bucks.  ANY of us would love to get treated so badly.  They signed him to motivate Sanchise and see what he could do... he was average when he was in the game and sucked at practice... he didn't deserve those last 2 starts.  If a player sucks in practice, they don't "deserve" a shot in the game on Sunday.

Tebow COULD get a job playing as a backup tight end (if his dream is to be in NFL), but ego won't do that.  He COULD to to CFL or Arena football (if he loves the position of QB) and get plenty of love.  He will do neither because his dream, a very rigid one, is to be a starting NFL QB.  Only 32 people out of 7 billion get that job.

Why do so many people say that?

I would also agree with what someone else said earlier about him not having the smarts to play QB.  He's not a very intelligent guy at all.  His social interaction is poor.  Tebow does have a degree though.................. ...........in Family and community services.  lol

But wait doesn't he train huge mma fighters like Cheick Kongo. He must have made at least 10 grand from that client.   90% of the time that guy posts something I just feel bad for him.

I dont think he has the mental ability to play QB.  It's a lot of instant math... angles and estimation in a fraction of a second.  anyone can be born with a cannon for an arm or fast feet... but being able to drop a pass into a receiver's hands at 35 yards in double coverage... that's serious math.

When Tebow speaks in interviews, he really sounds like a 102 IQ kind of person.  I admire his "run thru a wall to win" attitude and religious conviction is awesome... but I'm not smart enough to be a brain surgeon.  He's not smart enough to be a QB, IMO.

Tim Tebow...regardless of opinion didn't deserve the shit he got from the Jets.  They should have released him BEFORE THE DRAFT.  Now all the spots are filled and he'll have a tough time getting onto a team.

All he did was play the best football he could and lets not forget that when the chips were down in Denver, he led them to an AFC West Title and won another playoff game on top of it.  His throwing mechanics are average but he more than makes up for it by his running game where he just knocks down defenders like bowling pins and runs them the fuck over for yards.  He plays that old school Bruiser style football and it works.

I'm not sure Tebow would work in the CFL.  It's a passing league and only have 3 downs.  You can't afford to be throwing the ball into the ground and over the receiver's head.
