Guessing she weighted a solid 200lbs, or more, judging by old pictures of her? Terry Todd was one powerful and intelligent trainer, taking weight training to other sports. Guess their still alive today?

Jan Todd was big in the development of powerlifting for ladies and was the First Lady to total 1000lbs.
Being Terry Todd lady was a plus.

Jan Todd
Wasn't the First Lady of powerlifting though.
Shirley Patterson was the first official lady powerlifter.
The first contest she entered was a men's powerlifting meet because there wasn't a lady's diversion at the time with the AAU.  She gave up her chance to be on the American Olympic Weightlifting Team by entering the men's event.
She is the Pioneer Of Lady's Powerlifting.
Remember She only weighted 114lbs.
