I trying 4 a month & reading anthropological evidence about Neanderthals diet, well regarding to anthropologist, the last Neanderthals stronghold was near Krapina (today's Croatia) 26-28000 years ago & they were 99% meat lovers (like Vince Gironda diet).
They munch on big bears, mammoth's & other megafona, none of those proteins in existence today   :P.

as long as you leave out the ultra-radical "not cooking your food" thing some paleo people believe in, it's a good way to go. grains are pretty much the bane of modern existence.

Humans evolved for over one hundred thousand years without very many sources of carbs.  Our bodies adapted to that diet, and like you said all these grains and sugars aren't good human food.

i agree, they're terrible and cause a multitude of health problems. my ex is a doctoral student in anthropology, she showed me the massive spike in dental problems and bone issues that started occurring right around the time when grain agriculture became a thing.

we do need some carbs but there are other sources. it's amazing how carb-centric our modern diets have become

On a wheat-free paleo diet for 3 years now and feel great. All my physical problems cleared up. Besides being ugly, unfortunately.

36-26-40. That's a bold statement my friend. Quite bold indeed.

The Paleo diet? Give it a go for six weeks and see how you feel.  If you're feeling good- you've got a winner. If you go insane and start eating pine cones-no real damage done.

I know what he's talking about retard. Fabricated would show numbers a lot smaller than mine. Don't you think...fatty?

Not true at all.  Homo Sapiens were gatherers/foragers for the most part.

What kind of carb sources were available?  You know the fruits and vegetables we have today are a result of selective breeding over hundreds (or thousands in some cases) of years.

I eat like you do, I'm not saying people shouldn't.

Primitive, Sparsely growing, tiny, and shriveled up wild fruits, grains, tubers, and mushrooms... The occasional insect larvae and mollusks that humans may have occasionally come by, compared to our steady supply of modern Corn Syrup, Russet Potatoes, Flour, Cereal, etc...  :P

You would be much healthier eating Russet Potatoes and Flour, Cereal with Marshmallows and Big Mac`s than eating a true Paleo diet.  In fact, you probably would suffer "rabbit starvation" or would die of eating something toxic or rancid if you tried to eat "like our ancestors".  Truly a stupid gimmick concept followed by morons who don`t know much about humans or evolution for that matter.
