Guerrero SR. Vs. Mayweather Sr.

Screw the robert vs Flod fight I rather see these 2 old sr. citizen bastards go at it! I never buy into pay per view very rarely but I would def order that fight over watching their sons fight! You have floyds dad who used floyd as a bullet proof vest when he was a kid and Roberts crazy ass dad who thinks he is a bad ass because he benches 135lbs and goes down 3-4 inches and comes back up just for 4-5 reps and then flexes his muscles talking about how hard he is and how hard he was in jail and how he is the "Real Deal" That fight would be way better to watch. Lets get these 2 batsrds to throw some gloves on and see how much that fight would bring in. I bet more $ then robert vs Floyd.I would def pay for to see that shit.

Just gonna leave this here....

Mayweather Sr.'s boxing record was 28𤖫 (18 KOs), and he won the U.S. Championship Tournament in 1977 against Miguel Barreto.[1] He once stepped into the ring with Hall of Fame Boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.

Ray Robinson was a generation before Mayweather senior, he fought in the 40's and 50's.

that is what I thought. I thought he sugar ray fought marciano for the title. there was another thread on here that said he fought sugar ray.I just assumed robinson. His dad looks old. But sugar ray Leonard def makes way more sense. It sounds like the movie the fighter where his brothers proudest moment was going 12 rounds with sugar ray leonard. Leonard was great but there were many better in history. You would have to be somewhat good to fight sugar ray though. Did his dad go the distance with sugar ray, like mickey wards brother did?

Jr's style is a serious modification of Sr's shoulder roll, but prime Leonard would have destroyed Jr also at 147. Like his dad, he doesn't generate enough power to keep a guy like Leonard off of him.  Geez, Hearns at his apex had a problem with Leonard and his chin and hand speed.

I'm thinking Sr has a better chin than Jr, but Jr has NEVER really been tested over 8-12 rounds like the Ole School Fighters.

Jr. can NOT be counted out or even underdog in a prime Ray Leonard fight. We saw what it took to beat Ray (Duran, Hearns in 2nd fight, I'd even say Hagler) but no one knows for sure where Floyd's limits are. Until he is beaten and exposed for a glaring weakness, hes a favorite against any all time great welterweights, IMO.

*Cough*

Next thing you'll post is, he could shoulder roll his way out of 12 rounds against Hearns' right.  Even the great trainers said, Hearns would catch up to him at some point in the fight and test the hell out of his chin. An old Mosley buckled his knees with a left hook.  ::)  Hearns only lost at 147 is to Leonard.

I have no problem with FMW but he needs to meet Martinez at 154.  He's fought at the weight, so there is no excuse.  He won't take a dangerous fight like that, especially with Martinez at the top of his game.  And they are both OLD boxers, so he can't cry Martinez is too young.

Martinez just got beast last week to that british guy-IMO. Martinez just does not carry a very powerfull punch. His style would throw alot of fighters off but martinez's ass has hit the mat way too many times. He almost got knocked out by a stoned seriously poor under-trained julio chavez jr. Martinez was lucky chavez jr. did notb train seriously for that fight. I am not a chavez fan at all! But he did almost knockout Martinez. That guy from england got robbed-IMO. he beat martinez in his own backyard!
