Confusing movie. Trying to talk about the afterlife and reborn with vague memories of past lives. I thought it was insipid and dull. Strange to say the least and a flop critically.

Whole film was cumulonimbus.  First Hanks since Big that didn't grab me.

Halle Berry and Tom Hanks.

IMO, they tried too hard to make it an epic.  A lot of other movies ideas crammed into it, lots of them borrowed from 'The Matrix'.  Beautiful cinematography, but it was difficult to follow and way too long.

Read the book, much better.  They tried cramming in way too many of the story lines in, would have been better with just 2-3.

Of course it is , I mean what would these transgendered people do without the surgery & hormones? cross-dress , which is funny because women get away with wearing all sorts of traditional ' male ' clothes. people weren't transgendered until surgery and hormones , I'm sure some people felt like the opposite sex ( hows that possible? to feel like something you're not ) but I tend to think that's a physiological thing more than a physical one

If they some how discovered ' her ' bones after death , they would be able to tell it was a middle aged male.

Whatever a person chooses to be... that's not my problem/business. I'm nobody to judge anybody.

Btw: did you watch the entire speech?

Bizarre movie - didn't have a clue what the hell was going on from the start until I turned it off halfway through. Save your time and give it a miss.

I watched the first 20 mins of batman begins, while my newly wed wife was 'getting ready for bed' in the bathroom at the Hilton airport hotel. I should have turned it off though, because it was slightly unerving hearing the scarecrow laugh when I showed her my willy for the first time.
