I'm not taking sides here at all.  I believe the 'embarrassment' you speak of relates to some of the more blatant crap that goes on around here such as the racism, anti-semitic,  gay porn, graphic and gruesome pictures/posts, personal threats, gimmicks, etc., not the random "off-topic" BS.  While clearly some threads don't belong on the G & O, it is the most visited, so if the topic is very active, I'll let it sit there awhile before moving it where it actually belongs (even though I get bitched at for it  ) unless it gets totally derailed.  I believe Ron does the same much of the time.

IMO, there needs to be a decent balance; over-moderation pisses people off.  Following the "letter of the law" will only serve to stifle the entertainment value of Thunderdome ~ there are other sites if someone wants a monarchy.

No, I agreed with Ukjeff on the fact that the G&O should remain how it is. My opinion on one thing, should not start an avalanche of you being butthurt towards me. No you were right in what you said and I was not disagreeing with you, I was just playing dumb because the guys I was debating were playing dumb too so I was playing there game.

They were saying that talking training and talking dieting belongs in another section so I was saying ''technically'' that G and O should be bodybuilding related but I don't think that entirely, obviously some threads are OK to be there like the Boston marathon bombing thread and few other threads like the random pic thread that people enjoy
