And you are the first to cry to police when someone steals your ice cream.....

Oh?  Perhaps you would like to enlighten me as to when and where I did that.  I have called for EMS and fire for accidents and the cops have shown up...sometimes before the EMS got there.

Isn't your own brother part of the police state? Have you disowned him yet?

Yes.  No.

There is shame upon my family.

I don't think there is any shame serving in law enforcement.  The direction Law enforcement in general has gone in is a bit ridiculous in many ways but that doesn't automatically mean the people who sign up for that line of work are bad or wrong.  Law enforcement is something we need.  Yes, the public needs to address the problems and do what they can to change them but nothing wrong with being a cop.

Bottom Line: We need to double, no triple... the amount of police officers and first responders.

This will grow the economy from the middle out, not the top down. And Americans will be able to get back to work. This will increase the economy and basic GDP by 700%. We must do this to remain competitive in the global community.

Now some sacrifices will have to be made. You might not be able to order a second helping of shrimp cocktail on your private jet, or take that third honeymoon to the French Riviera.

The Rich will just have to pay their fair share.

Anyone who objects is pro rape, pro terrorism and pro violence. Also, guns will have to be banned.

is there a general point behind the mass of sarcasm you posted that actually applies to the thread?

Indeed,

We should all telecommute and not pollute because we give a hoot about Mother Nature.

We all need to Co-Exist.

Increasing the number of Police officers and reducing global warming are two key aspects of the economic recovery.

Hugo, are you opposing progress?

Stranded sisters praise officers who rescued them
Officers who went above and beyond to help the women get back on track for their vacation left a big impression on them

MEMPHIS — Sarah and Charlyce Poindexter, a pair of retired Georgia sisters with a shared love of road trips, were on their way to Bentonville, Ark., when disaster struck in Memphis. Lost and distracted, the sisters were trying to figure out how to get back on the highway on March 24 when Sarah slammed on her brakes to avoid running a red light, but to no avail.

She skidded into the intersection, brakes squealing, and slammed into a pickup, which collided with another car. Charlyce, 64, was in tears, and it seemed like their trip was over — that is, until the cops showed up.

One of the officers unloaded their bags from the car, loaded them into his own and took both the women and their dog to the airport to rent a car, all while reassuring them that everything was going to be all right. Officers Camron Briggs and Jason Pynkala were so kind, efficient and reassuring to the Poindexter sisters that Sarah drafted a letter to Mayor A C Wharton commending the officers she said were “of the highest caliber.”

We certainly don't need it to the extent it is at and moving towards.  It's the trend that concerns me.  240 isn't much for facts, but if his number is even remotely close, that's an obscene amount of law enforcement.

LMFAO.

People help other people a hell of lot more than this stupid shit.

How pathetic and sad that you need approbation and have to boast about minutiae.

In other news, 2 starving hamsters were pretty happy when given some crumbs to eat.

No, the point of the listings is the sheer quantity.  Goddamn dude, that really went over your head?

There's gotta be connection between dishonesty and stupidity as you seem to embody both.

When you're done posting all the police agencies, go ahead and post the population of those jurisdictions to give it perspective. You understand perspective don't you? p-e-r-s-p-e-c-t-i-v-e

LOL, ...the elderly Poindexter sisters, ...I would expect no less.

Had that been 21 & 24 yr. old Tyrone & Jerome Jackson, they probably would have been face down on the pavement, handcuffed and tasered. And their car impounded for 30 days.

...and if it had been Maria and Luisa Lopez, their vehicle would have been riddled with bullets.   ;D

Seriously... a clear indicator of extreme bias is when a person can take an obvious positive and turn it into a negative. It's a red flag as big as the state of Texas. You just traded glasses

I don't think so, tool.

If you want a different perspective, do your own work.

240 wanted a different perspective and came up with an obscene number of cops.
