The following people were wrong about the AK47 not being useful for home defense:

Obama. Romney. Reagan. Biden.

They differ in many areas politically, but they all suck ON THIS ISSUE. Nobody argues that.

How about as a possible defense of a country against a potential takeover of tyrannical dictatorship?

What if China wanted to takeover the USA? Would an AK47 help then?

Again - I would leave the law the way it is now. Semi Auto rifles are not a problem whatsoever in terms of overall crime numbers.

Yes - you need a Class 3 License, FFL i believe.

"Full Auto" is another bogus issue, the issue is illegal handguns by recidivist criminals who mostly should be in jail and not out on parole.

The 1989 Semi-Automatic Rifle Import Ban and the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban specifically banned the AK-47 by name

take note of the title of the 1989 law (I thought all the right wing gun nuts on this board knew the difference between fully automatic and semi-automatic but I guess I was wrong)
