i have to agree with you.   Rappers used to pride themselves in intensity and ambition.  Now it's all about who is the biggest fckup.

also the image they sold back then cannot be done today.  We see these guys tweeting and sharing and realize they're normal idiots like everyone else.  Back then, rap (like most styles of music) could markets its stars as living some aloof, amazing lifestyle.  Now we see them tweeting as they take shits.

And Dre was good but I am going to have to say that Snoop Dog is master.

Yep! DR Dre's "The Chronic" Album changed the whole rap game! It introduced one of raps best ever Snoop Dogg and slowed rap down into the chill smoking weed era instead of the fast paced crack rap era. The chronic was just a chill album you could relax too and just "just chill to the next episode"

At one time Eazy and Dre really were best friends! Money tore them apart! But when eazy got sick everything was forgotten. Dre loved Eazy at heart,vice versa.
