No, the founding fathers were running away from tyrannical rule channelled through and justified by "the church". They were still Christian, and by today's standards, very conservative. Either way, i don't agree with Christianity, but 100yrs ago, this type of degenerate sexual expression would have remained private, not displayed openly in public. Both systems are shit, but if i must choose, 100yrs ago is much better.
