Things just don't add up for me. Just an observation.
It does seem a little odd..
The cell phone story seems hacky. One moment the phone is off, the other it is on, but even though it is on, it doesn't allow him to make or receive calls or texts for at least an entire day after arrival, yet a complaint was made regarding international roaming costs....
Phone issue aside, this all could have been resolved by QuickerBlade if he simply had picked up a public pay phone and called Arce. Don't have extra change, dial it collect, every pay phone gives you 3-simple steps to do so. This is considering the fact that Arce's phone was on and had no service disruption, while QuickerBlade's phone was supposedly out of service.

Regardless, what's done is done. Arce is a good guy that went out of his way to pick up a fellow forum member. Quickerblade had a bad phone upon arrival and did not immediately see Arce standing in his field of vision and figured Arce had missed their mutually agreed upon arrival time.
Shit happens.. I say you both let it go and next time QuickerBlade goes down to LAX for a Pick Up Artist convention, you guys meet up, take pictures while having a 3-some with Latina Nurse Teresa and post those pictures up for us to see how friends can overcome any obstacle, regardless of the size of the stethoscope hanging by her waist...
Either way, I heard Steve ended up
picking up an even better pick up artist, his name is still somewhat of a mystery..
