Why didn't you text arce when you didn't see him at the baggage claim? After all you texted him a few days later, so wouldn't the prudent thing to do bee to send a text upon arrival?

Talk for weeks before hand, set up for pick up and then it comes down to bullshit excuses as to why he wasn't there communicating with Arce when they were in the same airport probably less than a mile from each other after flying 10k miles? This sounds like QB has something to hide.

It does seem a little odd..

The cell phone story seems hacky. One moment the phone is off, the other it is on, but even though it is on, it doesn't allow him to make or receive calls or texts for at least an entire day after arrival, yet a complaint was made regarding international roaming costs....  

Phone issue aside, this all could have been resolved by QuickerBlade if he simply had picked up a public pay phone and called Arce. Don't have extra change, dial it collect, every pay phone gives you 3-simple steps to do so. This is considering the fact that Arce's phone was on and had no service disruption, while QuickerBlade's phone was supposedly out of service.

Phone aside, what I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IS...

What role, if any at all, does Latina Nurse Teresa play in any of this, besides potentially trying to raise your stock as our resident Pick-Up artist?

Regardless, what's done is done. Arce is a good guy that went out of his way to pick up a fellow forum member. Quickerblade had a bad phone upon arrival and did not immediately see Arce standing in his field of vision and figured Arce had missed their mutually agreed upon arrival time.

Shit happens.. I say you both let it go and next time QuickerBlade goes down to LAX for a Pick Up Artist convention, you guys meet up, take pictures while having a 3-some with Latina Nurse Teresa and post those pictures up for us to see how friends can overcome any obstacle, regardless of the size of the stethoscope hanging by her waist...

Either way, I heard Steve ended up picking up an even better pick up artist, his name is still somewhat of a mystery..

A few little questions...

1) Did Arce know the flight # QB was on?  If so any flight tracking APP should tell him he landed....

2) Does Arce know the real name of QB?  If not, VERY fucking stupid.  If not, Arce why not go to the airport paging system and have him paged if his phone wasn't "working"

3) I tested something out last night.  I was at the store and asked someone to send a text for me because my "phone was broke".  They easily obliged.  QB, why didn't you have your "hot" latino nurse text arce that you were ok and you were sorry?

I don't have an opinion on this particular case but wiggs you are so right about having someone that lives in that city to pick you up at the airport and conveniently help you out is as cool as it gets. Mad props to anyone who is nice enough to do that

  Of course I texted and called him when I was waiting. I paid for parking, parked my car, and would even walk out side to where the loading zones were. To stretch my legs. To get some java. I was there five damn hours. He never ever returned any text nor any call.
