“Terrorists can make these guns and do some horrible things to an individual and then walk away scott-free, and that is something that is really dangerous,” said Yee.

Lol... the easiest thing to obtain in US is... a gun or explossives. ;D

Still obsessing over America huh?  ;)

Worry about your country stop worrying about ours

A man walks into an elementary school with two handguns. Within minutes, more than thirty children are dead or wounded.
This isn’t Newtown, Connecticut, but Realengo, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On April 7th, 2011, Wellington Oliveira murdered twelve children and wounded twenty others. The tragedy sparked a national conversation on gun violence, a huge problem in Brazil.
On Wednesday, in reaction to a different massacre, President Obama proposed a series of gun control measures he says will reduce gun deaths in America. Whether a recalcitrant Congress and vocal gun lobby will let those proposals become law is unclear.
Fact number 1: Brazil has the most gun murders in the world (around 36,000 people in 2010), but the U.S. has the most among industrialized nations (9,146).
Fact number 2: in 2011 Brazil was the number one supplier of guns to the U.S.

 Got problem with that? ;)

Well!! How many schools shootings happened in Brazil? most o deaths by gun here. would be a criminal vs a normal citizen.

Most of deaths by gun in US regular citizen vs regular citizen.I guess if you can not drive a car... you should not have a driver's license.. if you know what i meant?

Last week if I'm not wrong a 5 year old kid shot dead his 2 year old sister. the parents gave the kid a rifle for as a birthday gift.

Last 30 days was more than 5 schools shootings "maybe more".. if I'm not wrong. what about New Orleans ? nice shooting for mothers day. ;D

The US is the most violen core economy in terms of gun related deaths. It is also the leader in gun violence in school campuses.

Btw: Number of rape in US is astronomic, just in the military the number of cases jumped 19 thousand to 26 thousand. just saying.

What next though?  Plastic knives?  Then they would need to ban these or else people can get serious Indian burns

These printers only make certain parts of a gun. You can not print a gun from a 3d printer and actually fire it.

You can print ar-15 lowers ...but you still need the whole upper receiver assembly to be made from metal.

It's not as simple as everyone makes it out to be.

Dude let's not get into semantics here. Every fucking country has gun crime, murder, rape ...etc.
A Brazilian brining American crime stats into an argument is the pot calling the kettle black.
If you want to bring up crime stats lets bring up Brazilian favela

There are shitheads all over the world that will always kill eachother at the drop of a dime. Fact.

Kevlar and carbon fiber are the answer to this

For the gun, the only metal part was the firing pin, but you can make that out of non metal if you are crafty.

Some of these printers use all sorts of media, not just plastic.  It's pretty crazy.  Give it a few years and all sorts of shit will be available.

Fuck the government for trying to stop 3D printing.  The possibilities are endless for what it can do.  Most senators and congressmen arguing against them are not concerned about guns, they have their Chinese backers who are afraid of their businesses not being needed anymore for all the shit Americans buy.

Problem with what? You being obsessed with America? You're another hypocrite who loves American culture and technology  8) Where are you? An American website , using American technology trying to talk trash , notice none of us is on a Brazilian website bitching about your country because no one cares about Brazil  ;)

Well!! How many schools shootings happened in Brazil? most o deaths by gun here. would be a criminal vs a normal citizen.

Oh so you're not a criminal when you shoot up a school? fantastic logic  :o

And you would be wrong , most deaths by guns in the U.S is by suicide. Nice try though

Yeah I believe this story  ::) back up your claim

More bullshit , if you're gonna make shit up at least make it believable

Btw: Number of rape in US is astronomic, just in the military the number of cases jumped 19 thousand to 26 thousand. just saying.

Totally irrelevant to the fact that your country has more gun ,murders than ours in fact more 4 times more , stop trying to switch the subject and wanna go there?  ;)

Reported rapes in Brazil rose by 157 percent between 2009 and 2012, with Rio de Janeiro state recording 16 sexual assaults a day last year, according to official data released Sunday.

You have a host of problems in Brazil stop obsessing over America , worry about the gun violence and rape problems there. Our crime rates continue to fall over the past 20 years and yours have skyrocketed  ;)

the greatest evolution of these printers is when you can just upload a photo and it can make a 3D model of it.  I assume you still need to put together some CAD drawing first before it knows what to do.

dude how are you gonna make a chamber capable of supporting the pressure of an exploding cartridge out of plastic? what about the recoil spring? and all the small springs inside the FCG? even the ar-15 lower receiver they made out of it ended up breaking, and the lower receiver on an ar-15 receives like none of the stresses when firing.

and then there's the issue of getting ammo for it as well.

the biggest real boon with current tech i see out of this is being able to print synthetic mags and not having to pay magpul 20 bucks for one.

i know synthetic material technology is progressing rapidly but i don't think we'll be able to see a full synthetic, let alone printable, let alone cost effective gun for quite some time.

i would print dildos for myself everyday haha.

lol how many do you need?
