people get mad at these salaries but it's the same people paying thousands a year for tickets to games, wearing Nike and Adidas gear, paying $49.99 for pay per view.  Good for them for making this money.

Boxing isn't going anywhere.  For those MMA "fans" that wished for it's demise and predicted it's downfall-the future was 5 years ago.  That was when MMA was at it's peak and in particular the UFC.

What we see now is how it will be for the foreseeable future. Ebbs and flows of up and coming fighters good bouts, bad bouts, and everything in-between.  Boxing is like soccer in many ways, a global sport that thrives in every part of the world.

Like it or not MMA  and boxing are part of the fight sport culture forever.

in 2013, at 44 years after  the moonlanding, 4000 years after pyramids , 2000 after integrals, when humankind has decripted the human genome map , when every kid has acces to total information-smartphones, graphene.. this  mad jumping kicking ball apes are making millions, isn t that sad? .. if humankind would wake up and direct those money into bodybuilding i am sure that the beautiful man with glasses would still be with us..

No it's not sad that they are making millions.  It's sad that society puts them on pedestals and pay so much money to watch it and wear shirts with other men's last names on it
