Actually Clark gable was asked once if he had a affair with Monroe.. He stated that he would never based on her personal hygiene.. Apparently Monroe hated to bathe...  Smelled very poor.. And fArted constantly..lol.. One of her beauticians for her movies said she would literally take hours to get her ready for a scene because she had not washed her hair for weeks and smelled so bad.. Mental mess..
