GETBIG Challenges-Earn Certification as a True Getbigger

Today I did the 225 for 100 Challenge in 30 minutes for Squats and thought it would be interesting for others to try it as well as post challenges of their own to Complete.  It keeps things interesting.  I really enjoyed doing it for a change of pace.


Natural Challenge 1:

225 for 100 reps in 30 minutes or less on Ass To Ground Squats (No Smith Machine-Only Real Squats).  The goal here is to use 1.25 of your body weight.  Since I am 180 lbs this would be 225.  Adjust accordingly.

I went down Much further than he did for every rep and I advise others to do the same.

Can you do it? I did it and it was pretty tiring.  I also did 15 sets of Biceps afterwards.

i used to do this routinely, and with only 1 minute rest in-between sets.  and i supersetted the first four sets with a set of 10 on front squats... which cut into my rest time.

and i suck at squats.  some "challenge" ::)

Did you do it with 225 and are you lean?

No real challenge. It's just GVT I do with DBs for chest. I just try to do my ten sets in under 10 mins, is all. Last couple of sets can be tough.

Of course you should adjust it to your bodyweight.

I am 180 lbs and used 225.

How much do you weigh and I will adjust it to equal that in proportion.

i weigh between 200 and 205 now, at 6'3"... i did 225 10x10 with 1 minute rests fairly recently.

back when i did this sort of thing routinely, though, with the front squats, i was probably more like 220.

You will need to do your bodyweight multiplied by 1.25

Ok so you will need to use 256 lbs.  Choose 255 or 260.

Well then there you go.  Challenge is on.  1.25 Times your body weight.  100 reps. Ass to Ground. 30 minutes.

It really is an awesome workout.  Especially for Naturals.

At 220 you would have had to do 275 lbs to equal it.

I weighed 220 this morning.

Not sure if I could do 275 for 100 reps within half an hour - it's possible, but very very tough.
