Mind.in.a.box

"mind.in.a.box is an Austrian electronic music band which includes Stefan Poiss (vocals), Roman Stift (bass), Gehard Höffler (drums) and Adam Wehsely-Swiczinsky (guitar). Their "technopop" sound can be described as a cross between futurepop and progressive trance."

"For their albums, the songs feature monologues, snippets of audio logs and conversations that combine to tell a story that spans the albums. Together, they form a mysterious epic that draws on science fiction, fantasy and noir fiction."

Ambient Temple Of Imagination

"The Ambient Temple of Imagination is an open collective dedicated to activating the world's imagination through experimentation.

Part ambient-trance group, part holistic listening-music healers, ATOI's Mystery School project was founded in 1992 by Richard Sun and Seofon in San Francisco as they pioneered chill-out sound environments for raves around the area. With introspective chill spaces, ritual performance art, and spoken-word poetry, ATOI focused on the public ceremonial exploration of magick and sound."

Faunts

"Faunts was formed in the fall of 2000 by brothers Steve and Tim Batke. Faunts are released on Friendly Fire Recordings. In 2005, their debut album High Expectations/Low Results was well received.[1] In 2006, a 40-minute EP entitled M4 was released that grew out of music crafted to accompany short films for the Film and Video Arts Society.[2][3] One of the tracks from the M4 (M4, Pt. II) was featured during the final credits of BioWare's 2007 RPG Mass Effect.[4] This raised the band's profile and "a sizeable new audience was exposed to Faunts’ moody, subdued melodies".[5] On November 18, 2008, they released a remix album titled Faunts Remixed, featuring remixes by acts such as Mark Templeton and DVAS, which is available exclusively through iTunes.[6] The newest Faunts album, Feel.Love.Thinking.Of[7] was released on February 17, 2009, and is the result of songwriting over the course of the touring across America. Most recently, BioWare chose to feature another Faunts song, Das Malefitz, during the final credits of Mass Effect 3."

And I would nominate the BOC for this category as well.
Same experience as with Orbital; their albums are journeys.
Enjoy..
