Interesting.....and surprising......intitial thoughts are....not liking this.
Two different architectures, 360-PowerPc In Order vs Xbox One X86 Out of Order. You would either need an emulator which is probably not possible to create and make stable or you need to include the 360 architecture on an SoC inside the new Xbox One, which would drive cost up quite a bit....ask Sony how the latter worked for the PS3.
If you want to play old Xbox 360 games then just keep your old system.
As for Kinect....why is this shocking? It comes with the system and can be used to navigate/interact with the machine. It would be crap if it was required but wasn't included but this isn't the case.
As for the used game thing....I dunno, I don't like it but game makers were already doing the "OnLine Pass" stuff for the last 2 years or so, still sucks. Although, I read that you only have to pay a fee if you install it on the HD and play without the disc, if you install and use the disc to play you won't have to pay. That may be wrong but it would at least piss me off less. Remember, Sony didn't reveal anything about used game use either, if the publishers push for it you can be sure they will have something similar, especially if MS does it first.
