Attorneys for George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, released another round of evidence Thursday, including the teen's cellphone records and pictures.

Eight reports, totaling more than 20 pages, of Martin's cellphone records were released, including 25 pictures and videos. The evidence also includes school records and videos from the school, a handwritten letter from Witness 8, Zimmerman's medical report from Feb. 27, 2012, and pictures of Witness 25.

The photos show Martin blowing smoke and extending his middle finger to the camera. The photos also show a gun and what appears to be a potted marijuana plant.

In one of the videos of a street fight in Miami, Martin is seen in the background wearing a striped shirt.

In the text messages, Martin tells a friend that his mother has told him he needs to move out of her house and move in with his father since he was caught skipping school.

He also talks about fighting in November 2011, saying, "I lost the first round but won the second and third." The person responded back, saying, "it was three rounds, you won one lol but you need to stop fighting for real."

Local 6 legal analyst Luis Calderon says the pictures and texts could help the defense build its case."

I still don`t understand why Zimmerman was charged at all. He was attacked and simply defended his life when it became apparent that Trayvon was on top of him, beating him and could have potentially grabbed the gun.

zimm team getting ready for a brawl.

we don't know that he was attacked. we only know he was losing the fight. there's no evidence who swung first. there is evidence that trayvon ran two blocks from the front gate as zimm said "he's running away".

zimm may be too big for the handcuffs by the time the trial arrives.

He recently waived his right to a pre-trial self-defense immunity hearing where it could have been thrown out. I don't think they wanted him potentially on the stand twice. I was vexed by this decision since it seems pretty straightforward based on FL case law alone. There is likely a distrust of the whole process and a trial is the safest route.

Zimmerman is the kind of dude that nobody likes. Spoiled, entitled, wannabe. If he gets off, he'll just run into trouble again, and again. Just like before this case.

He's not going free...he'll be convicted. Its also not a great idea for the lawyer to release these photos...jurys don't like it when the victim is attacked. Trayvon isn't around to defend himself and didn't have a gun that night...Zimmerman did.

All of these pictures were prohibited by the judge as evidence and they also don't like it when lawyers try to taint the jury pool and run circles around them.

Even if Zimmerman was found innocent, he's still a dead man anyway....and so is his family. You can count on him being taken out by some vigilante

x2 Personally, I hope he gets off, some real life vigilante action would be some sweet poetic justice. it would be nice if they could somehow set it up so the vigilante could use a 'Stand your ground' Defence.

I do, can't speak for Vince. That's what Vigilantes do, they provide justice when the Authorities don't. Zimmerpig was never a vigilante, but just a common wolf in sheeps clothing. He isn't fooling anyone.(except maybe the racists, who aren't really fooled, just glad they have a new found black whipping boy)

Trayvon LOVED to fight. LOVED it so much that he kept doing it over and over and over. He started this shit and Zimmerman ended it. Legally I might add.

You attack someone, as Trayvon did, and that person has a gun, it is completely legal to shoot to defend yourself. Trayvon has a history of fighting. An extensive history at that.

OJ claimed he never did it. If he admitted to it and then claimed some retarded self defence claim. Sure, why NOT. Zimmerman has openly admitted he profiled, pursued and shot and killed a kid who was simply walking home from the shops. At the very least he should be executed for being a complete moron. I don't know anything about the Casey Anthony case.

While out in my neighbourhood if I had to choose between being exposed to teenagers walking home from 7/11 or paranoid armed vigilantes stalking the neighbourhood shooting people. I take my chances with the kid with the skittles.
