For sure. People just need to not ask the damn question when it's so obvious. You can make fun of Piana, but he sits there being recorded and is at least 75% honest about it.

What can Ronnie really say in that situation?

Yeah, it's a retarded question, prob for the sake of attention whoring.
I gotta give credits to Rich as well for his talks with Ric Drasin, other than his denial about synthol use.
Regarding Ronnie, most "Christians" are hypocrites anyway  ;)

How many Christians do you know, that live a life according to the 10 commandments?
"Thou shalt not covet" is a nice example ;)

That is not being a hypocrite unless you are preaching the 10 commandments, I am a Christian but I don't preach the 10 commandments and I try to follow the 2 commandments that override the 10 commandments which are; Love God and Love your neighbor.

anyway, anyone who can not see that Ronnie was being completely sarcastic is dumb. ;)

And love the neighbor's daughter even more ;D

There are always gradations, that's true, but I remember a Lutheran christian on my work. This guy loved to start moral discussions about everything, claiming that he knew 'the truth' and all others were wrong ::) But he also showed his real side, when I started a conversation about things like the "female ass" or "the power of money" with a face like this  :P

Ronnie was prob tired of that repeated question, so I can understand his response.

thats a weak example

people are by nature flawed

but you can aspire through religion to be a better person

doesnt mean you will never commit sins

Let's say that we can define "better" *, then how much better would an average religious person be, compared with an atheist?

* This would result in an endless debate..

Lots of good points in the last few posts.

To put it simply (if possible);

1. The 10 commandments were God's first covenant/contract with his people. Which they failed time and again, to keep their part, hence;

2. Jesus dying for our sins, is God's second, and new contract that completely overwrites the previous one.

A true Christian, should do his best to live right as this pleases God. However, a Christian can not earn forgiveness, or become righteous by trying to keep to both contracts, he must trust in the new one.

you forgot one thing, a muslim would say christians are being misled by the wrong religion ;D

then a jew would say something like that too and then the hindu wouldsay a cow is god

native indian would say earth is god and a communist would laugh at every one them

 ;D

Good point.

However we all know that there can only be one God, and I wouldn't give much room to someone who professed to be a 'Bhuddist' and said "There are many Gods, everyone's beliefs are valid". By saying that, they are really saying "I chose this one, but i'm nowhere near 80% convinced something else isn't actually the truth".

Christian guy here, and once again:

Romans 13:1 - "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God."

The law forbids steroid use unless they're prescribed by a doctor, and by "doctor" I don't mean some hack from Tijuana. I don't agree with many of the drug laws and think that there are worse things than an adult using steroids for cosmetic purposes, but that's the way it is.

i think its funny as a society how people like you have become so brainwashed by the liberal media that you don't see it as bigoted to say "most Christians are hypocrites".  If you were to hear someone say "most Muslims are terrorists" you would most probably jump down their throats in defense of equality for the Muslim people.  But because you hear it so often you don't think twice about saying hurtful things about Christians because you've adopted the belief that its OK to insult Christians.  You are a prime example of how mass media conditions people to change their belief systems on whats right and wrong.

Dude, you don't even know me in person with that 'liberal media brainwash' claim. ::) You have no clue how many religious people I've spoke.
As an example, I've lived in an apartment, full of evangelions for over a year. I had great discussions with them, and yes, some of them tried to convince me of their beliefs. Did I walked away from that? No, it was an interesting experience.

'insult'? 'attacking'? You sound a little sensitive and insecure here  ::)
I just give my honest opinion, based on my own observations, and I have the right to do so (read the name of this Getbig section again).
It's not that I dislike Christians, but I dislike this attitude.
