Never had chance to meet him in person after his retirement. Does he still look big when you stand next to him? From his few recent pictures from facebook he is definitely still holding 200lb+ of mass.

there have been a handful of usa or nationals winners who looked pro ready or pro level at those shows flex at 92 usa,s ray 87 nationals.

It maybe genetics, but it maybe the Kidney thing as well. I don't know the medical term, but Gary Coleman had kidney issues, and he looked young as well. Who knows.

I think it's ridiculous that any of you can look at that second photo of Flex and think that arm does not have a lot and I mean a lot of oil in.

No arm has that shape naturally.

He's still full of oil and if it's a choice between health and using a lot of gear to stay in shape, good luck to him.

Don't know if better than levrone imo, flex can't carry mass and compete with the big guys..

Levrone can carry 250+ and look good, nobody gets in shape for competition faster than levrone and I believe in his later years as in 01/02 he just fast assed everything

Cormier can do the same thing , imo Chris is more complete and could have done better but....

That's what i said. He said way back in 97 or 98 that once he stopped competing he would quit lifting...and Shawn Ray was like "WTF!"

For Flex bbing was means to pay the bills and "flex". For Shawn it was his chosen "sport" and a means to pay the bills, so he took it seriously, methodically.
