I have never been able to do it.  Any elite benchers here able?

I definitely can't do it.  Never been a strong bencher.  Best I could ever do was about 1.5  :-\

i did 315 for two+three reps, am at 185 lbs.  i guess i could do 370, but i'm not risking a pec tear, have nothing to gain, so i will never know.

I did it once. In 1975 when training for the Mr Australia contest and dieting I did 400 pounds while weighing 200. Strict bench with butt on the bench with no bounce. Ah, the good old days. Left shoulder has been sore for decades so I don't bench anymore.

Once... I was 24 I was lifting heavy training...6'0 225-230 did my absolute max ever 455 for 1, clean no other hands on bar...with lift off and set without help...never went over or at again...

I was 22 in these pics sorry about shitty quality... Only pics I had when I deployed Mom asked for photos so I sent these back...no cell phones with cameras in 94

It doesn't matter if you FORCE it or not, if your 315 max is 2-3, you wouldn't be able to move 370.

Did a legit 440 at 210 years ago. Now I can't do 210 at 440.  :P
