Padilla also dressed as a lady boy ....I think Ed Giuliani was asked but refused to be part of the party.

Jimmy Thomson exposed the bit about Franco in the school uniform but I believe Danny Padilla was the first choice in South Africa but he refused. This is why he wasn't allowed to compete in the short class at the 75 Universe despite being shown sitting with Arnold at the show in Pumping Iron.    Ed Giuliani apparently was the biggest toy of the Weiders according to Jimmy.

I remember buying a BB'ing magazine when i was in grade school, and the kids called me a f.aggot for it.

So yes, if little kids can make that distinction, i don't know why i need to spell it out for you as an adult.

One thing which didn't help the image was the fact that the original Gold's gym featured in pumping iron was used as a talent pool for gay porn producers. Plenty of regulars at Gold's (including Bob Birdsong, Roger Callard and Rick Drasin ) featured in gay porn in the 70's because the whole purpose of Gold's being purchased around 1970 in the first place, was as a feeder for gays into the magazine and film world.  A lot of money was made by the Gold's owner who also owned the movie studio. Smart guy who made a fortune.

I can't understand why Rick Drasin doesn't talk about this in his youtube movies. Meeting up and chatting with the old Gold's crew who did gay for pay movies back in the day would be interesting and certainly a lot more truthful than the usual sugar coated interviews which don't mention what they did for money.  I am assured that almost every guy shown at Gold's Venice in the Pumping Iron movie except for Arnold worked for Colt Productions at some time.

Ken Sprague (2nd Gold gym owner) mentioned that Joe Gold was poof too  ;D ;D ;D

Honestly it's the the embarrassment of people finding out you are into it. For example I like basketball, I wouldn't be embarrassed if someone saw me watching a game or reading a basketball magazine. Same cant be said of bodybuilding. He'll back when I was 21 I always bought MD, man I felt like I was buying gay porn from the bookstore. Just a walk of shame to the counter with minimal eye contact with the cashier.

And yet you still bought the magazine. Were you too paranoid to just stand there at the newsstand and read it?

and why are so many homosexuals always around lurking?

Amateur and professional bodybuilding is a particularly narcissistic endeavor. Although one could argue that some folks lift for health, and many do, but there are also a fair number of guys flexing in the mirrors at the gym. Maybe that's why the walls are covered with mirrors. The leap from being narcissistic to enjoying attention and perhaps payment from anyone male or female who is interested, isn't great.

Back in the day, I knew fellows who tried to convince their friends that G4P wasn't the same as being gay. Maybe not, but to my mind if you are a guy and you have sex with other guys, you are engaging in homosexual behavior. Payment just feeds your narcissistic bent a little more.

Any fellow who "dances" for the boys at the Faultline, http://www.faultlinebar.com/html/welcomehome.html letting them stuff dollars in their thong and up their butt is only kidding himself if he doesn't believe that is gay....I don't care how poor you are or how much you owe your supplier, a truly heterosexual guy would never go there.

Are you suggesting flossing one's teeth is gay? Perhaps you mean wearing floss in one's butt crack. -Very surreal.

Glutes are a human's biggest muscle. Why wouldn't folks who are bodybuilders display their glute development. The fact that this is a comparatively recent occurance in bodybuilding competitions, especially in the U.S. speaks to how homophobic many people are. In my opinion, Europeans and some South Americans are way ahead of the game and apparently far less homophobic then are Americans.

Hasn't he already exposed his sorry ass?

Never much liked bunnies. They are nervous little creatures with pink eyes like a rat, they eat their young and shit constantly. I don't like the taste of rabbit either. Unlike what some folks say, they don't taste anything like chicken.

It was 10 years ago and I was really into bodybuilding and loved reading MD. Times have changed and so did I, learning the truth about bodybuilding really alters ones view.
