I can't bring myself to watch men play any sort of sport these days. Much rather see them beat the living shit out of each other.

I always put it down to a couple of things.

1.There's not enough goal-scoring for the short-attention span your average american seems to have.

2. USA doesn't dominate in it on a worldwide level and this doesn't go down well with it's citizens.

The mls has only been around for 20 years so its still a young sport in the states. Give these fuckers some time and they can be #1 in the world if they wanna be.

I'm not sure but the fact that all you need is a ball would attract anyone to play no matter how poor.

the only one I have had a good bet on was on benitez to be chelsea manager. he was in a mates bar in dubai and my brother phoned me and said he's just told us he is off to chelsea. got it at 8/1 and lumped on it

Playing sports is great but when it comes to watching I'm way out of the loop these days. I did see a bit of this game today though and there was a lot of action.

yep, played quite often actually

but then i had a bad knee injury which required surgery (kneecap dislocation) and then i rehab-ed it and dislocated the fucker again within a few weeks of returning to play

so then the doc told me to give it up or risk having more surgeries, so i chucked it
