Happy Memorial Day to all my fellow brothers and sisters in arms. America and all her allies. Although we are all pawns in this game, whatever the reason,Man, Woman, Black, White, Brown, Yellow and Red, Straight, Gay, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Athiest, we all chose to step up and serve our countries and for this, to all alive and to those who have passed (R.I.P), I thank you!

Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Lets wait till Veterans Day before we thank each other, the living I mean. US Army 1991-1996. God bless the glorious dead!

Memorial Day is not to be confused with Veterans Day; Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving, while Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans

Why are you guys thanking Wiggs? Memorial Day is a day to remember those that gave their lives in the service of their country. Last I checked, Wiggs is still alive. You can thank him on Veteran's Day or during Black History Month.

As a non-combat veteran (I think thats what I'm called) Army 1996-2001, I want to give thanks for all the real vets living or dead. Memorial day is to remember the sacrifice that those individuals gave and those living that have seen even one minute of action, my thanks. Your one minute of action > my 5 years of training.

If you fight for this great country those "bennies" are earned. IMHO I think they should get the same medical as congress, if you get your leg blown off you should be able to see the best doctor to get it replaced weather it's concidered "experimental " or not. They should also pay a lower tax rate than civilians in the same tax bracket
