I did 147 in Convertible BMW 3 series on the highway once- It was its top speed and it wouldn`t go any further, Pedal was all the way to the floor and there was nothing left in it.

I did 175 or so when I had my Lotus with the E3 Chip and Cat Exhaust and was too scared to do any more.

I don`t think I will ever do any of that again.

Damn, I've done 118 (Mercedes C280) and was shitting myself...  ;D

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Seriously, I was not expecting this thing to be sooooo quick!

Once it was warmed up, you could activate 'Launch Mode' and go from 0-120 mph in what felt like a few seconds.

I can only compare the feeling to my friends Evo, which gave a bit more G-Force at the beginning of the acceleration.

Beautiful car.

Nice car but i am more interested in finding out how you got your big fat ass to fit in the seat.

Props to Nissan for putting that together.

I pulled up to a brand new Z4 at the lights, and I was so confident in the sheer force of this car it felt like I would be challenging a VW Golf to drag race with me lol  8)

Mine slid in quite nicely, as i'm now just over 10% bf @ 195 pounds - however, I did have to call a cab for your mother.

The GT-R is quite an awesome piece of engineering; it can put to shame cars that cost a lot more and is a monster. The crazy people at Nissan deserve a lot of credit for it.

Fastest I ever did was 155 (electronically limited) in an Audi. Straight line speed doesn't do much for me. I much prefer spirited driving in the twisties.

Bro, I was literally blown away.

I've been in an Evo, and it was similar for the first 0-40, then something sinister takes over from 40-120 and you actually have a small tingling in your balls haha.

Bikes take a lot more balls to go all out though - my aunty was dating a guy who at the time was in the British motocross team years back, so one Christmas we are over his place and he invites me to jump on the back of his fireblade (i'd imagine this was top top spec), first few bursts and I was semi-cool - then we get to a bridge linking us to the mainland, real flat and wide and he turns and shouts "DONT LET GO".

I thought I was going to die, so I just closed my eyes hahaha, after we stop he says "We just hit 165mph".

I was like  :-\

Outstanding cops can not keep up with that.

With a GT-R I wouldn't be so sure... rumor has it that Nissan engineers worked out a way to do just that in their spare time ;D

545 hp is nothing amazing for a 3.8 liter car.. actually quite tame. They can be tuned for 1200+ hp on stock block.
