How much do you tip a hair stylist in a salon?

I pay $14 and give her a $20.

She gives me the best scalp rub each time.  She shampoos my hair for like 20 minutes just running her nails through it.  I try my hardest to no pop a boner but sometimes I can't help it.

I cut my own hair. You will never catch me handing over 15-20 dollars over to some stuck up, unskilled Iranian lady to cut my hair.

...or you get those Italian/Greek barbers that are stuck in the 1950's, thinking they're offering you some unmatched gentlemen service.

Also, why tip? They already have a set price, what the fuck am i tipping them for?

Who in their right mind thinks they deserve $20 for less than 10min of work.

Its very hard to find someone that does a proper haircut just the way you want it. Once you find that person a tip is a sign of appreciation. They remember the people who tip well...
