I think people are misunderstanding what's being said here on the voicemail recording.   The driver when asked if he was tipped says "not at all".   He didn't get a $5 tip.  It's the other person on the phone that says if a kneegrow gives $5 tip they are a fine outstanding citizen.  But that doesn't mean this guy gave $5.   The driver did not get a tip at all, and that's why he's fuming.

Thank you for clearing that up. $5 tip on a $15 order is solid. But if that cheap rat didn't tip at all if true I don't blame the pizza boy for calling back the negro he just should have used a private #.

Anyone who doesn't tip is either a poor bastard, or a douchebag. When you enlist these types of services, it is a given that you should tip.

Exactly. Remember when groink told the story about giving the pizza guy a five and the guy didn't thank him so groink said "hey lemme get that $5 back"  and took it from him leaving him empty handed.

What a prick.

My unbiased view says that was indeed a prick move by groink.

I may be wrong but I think he did get the $5 tip which is unusual because blacks are notorious bad tippers, but instead of being thankful the delivery kid still felt like talking crap about blacks saying they tip five bucks and that makes them a good citizen in that town.

And btw, good pizza delivery drivers make minimum wage but with tips turns out to be 15 dollars or more per hour.

Didn't sound like he got at tip at all.  When the other guy on the phone asks him about a tip the driver says "not at all".   It's confusing for another reason, because at the beginning the customer clearly says he always tips 21%, but $5 on a $15 bill is not 21%.   The whole thing is fucked up.

Blacks, Canadians, and Arabs don't tip at all.  Savages, all of 'em.  :P

How about the tip jar at every cashier counter? So a girl hands you a bagel you are supposed to leave a dollar? This never happened for decades now every cash register has a tip jar. Fuck you.

How about when you go to a national major chain store and at the register they ask you if you want to donate a dollar to some charity of their choosing? Let me tell you how this works. They donate a couple of million and get to write it off on their taxes as their donation. It's their name on the check. Almost everyone is shamed into giving a buck and it adds up to incredible money. Also administratively they can use that money for salary in the name of managing the charitable donations legally. Who knows what percentage of what's taken in will end up in the charities hands. Then you have to think when that charity gets the money how much of it will go toward the cause? When I give to a charity it's the charity of my choice.

To Devon, I'm pretty sure he pocket dialed the dude, and didn't mean for this to be heard.

That said, I tip on pizza delivery because they are spending gas money, and they don't get a car allowance. I tip waitresses because they only make $2.13 and hour, so they should be compensated.

And, I had a buddy in college who delivered pizzas in the summer. Well, he had a book he carried with him to write addresses in for lack of tipping, something he could steal from their house later, etc. When one time he delivered to these folks out in the boonies and they tipped him $.11 change and dropped it on their porch and laughed, the next time they ordered he took the pizza in the bathroom with him, took a shit, and smeared the shitty toilet paper on the pizza. You never know what kind of twisted fuck you'll piss off in this life.

I had a pizza the other day with a mix of regular cheese and gorgonzola. Epic.

I went through a drive through of a local fast food type place and they had a tip jar in the window.. wtf? I'm becoming more and more anti tipping.. a hair cut? Seriously, I'm supposed to tip you for a hair cut on top of the price? I understand the waiter/waitress thing and delivery to a certain extent but everywhere you turn around, people are expecting tips
