very true. they had top quality stuff. they used very little ( compared to nowdays) they took breaks. most would use only for a show. they would "grow" into a show . they used dball primo deca and some test. they didnt stack 4,5,6 or more at a time. they used a fair amount but not like today. most were afraid to really push it. this was late 60s and 70s and even early 80s thru mid 80s. gh was from dead people. inslulin very very few used it( if any at that time). tim belknap was a true diabetic and needed it. mentzer never admitted to using it but i think he did. he did an interview with belknap about his insulin use and shortly thereafter he got a gut. he was really the first guy with a gut even in shape. again im not sure he never admitted it no me or i really didnt care to ask him cuz not many knew anything about insulin use. they also didnt really do any pct either. again they just went off most shrunk down some got fat. in fact it wasnt really until they really upped the dose stayed on year round had alot of new and different compounds and then a few gurus came along ( duchaine used to pimp out bill phillips to a doc to get nolvadex lol ) that pct became used. and then the hair loss became rampant.
