they actually have to have some valid reason to do so

240 is right.....I think they're finally playing the long game. These scandals should allow major pick ups in the House and possibly the senate. Once they have that nothing is happening and are gambling that they (the scandals)should further erode support for the eventual 2016 dem field of candidates. McConnell has been doing this from day 1.  Nobody really big has said impeachment...you hear from the margins, guys who are put out to mention it, but nobody really mainstream..yet anyway.

Yep.  They hate obama but fear the shit of him "appointing" Hilary or some fresh face to take over, should he be impeached and Biden resign to be with family or whatever.

Same way, in 2007/2008, Dems were really hoping cheney DIDNT leave office... as it would have meant "special apointee Veep Giuilini" would have been in like flynn come election time.

Not that I blame him entirely since it's never one man's fault alone but the economy under Carter was terrible from what I have read and the little I recall (I wasn't even in my teens when Carter was president). I also have read that he was a petty micromanager (to the extent that he scheduled time on the White House's tennis courts). Someone like this will not be a successful CEO.

I have no problems w/ the last couple of presidents. My income and investments have continuously gone up. There have been no major disturbances that have adversely affected my lifestyle. If you haven't made money during the Obama administration than you have no one to blame but yourself. Would I like to pay less in taxes? Of course. I'd like to pay zero if I could but it is what it is.
