Man wakes from rhinoplasty operation to find top surgeon removed his ENTIRE nose

A man woke up after getting a nose job to find that the plastic surgeon had removed his nose entirely.

Patient Vishal Thakkar went to Dr Angelo Cuzalina, the president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, for more than eight surgeries over the course of a half a dozen years.

Mr Thakkar told the local Fox affiliate that after he went through a divorce in 2006, he decided to 'do something selfish' and get a nose job.

Why did the Surgeon (and the President of the Board at that) remove his nose like that?

Clearly this would be an easy task for him, but there must have been something more behind it.

He must have done it deliberately due to all the nagging and berating during all of these visits. (eight of them?)

EDIT: Read the article, and he had an infection, thus the Surgeon removed his nose :D

Slightly misleading headline, it was his 7th surgery and the surgeon noticed there was an ongoing infection while the man was on the operating table.
