Why isn't the green movement promoting zero point energy

Zero point energy is not harnessable...you need a thermal differential between a volume with a surplus of energy (boiler of a power plant) and a heatsink (cooling tower or pond).  The flow of energy between the two is what is harnessed in a power plant...with zero point energy there is nothing possible for the energy to flow into.
