Ralph Nader last week had some harsh words for the current President of the United States.

Appearing on Democracy Now!, Nader asked host Amy Goodman, "Has there been a bigger con man in the White House than Barack Obama?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

AMY GOODMAN: Let’s go to President Obama in February in his State of the Union address calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage to $9.00 an hour from $7.25 and to automatically adjust it with inflation.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Tonight, let’s declare that in the wealthiest nation on Earth, no one who works full-time should have to live in poverty, and raise the federal minimum wage to $9.00 an hour. We should be able to get that done. This single step would raise the incomes of millions of working families. It could mean the difference between groceries or the food bank, rent or eviction, scraping by or finally getting ahead. For businesses across the country, it would mean customers with more money in their pockets. And a whole lot of folks out there would probably need less help from government. In fact, working folks shouldn’t have to wait year after year for the minimum wage to go up, while CEO pay has never been higher. So here’s an idea that Governor Romney and I actually agreed on last year: Let’s tie the minimum wage to the cost of living, so that it finally becomes a wage you can live on.

AMY GOODMAN: So that’s President Obama in February in his State of the Union address.

RALPH NADER: Yeah.

AMY GOODMAN: Isn’t that what you’re calling for?

RALPH NADER: Yeah, has there—has there been a bigger con man in the White House than Barack Obama? He hasn’t lifted a finger since he made those statements. And when he made the statements in the 2008 campaign, he said nothing for four years on raising the minimum wage. He made no pressure on Congress. He hasn’t even unleashed people in his own White House on this issue.

Lybia , Pakistan, yemen, increased war in Afghanistan etc

you think Obama started a war in Lybia, Pakistan and Yemen ?

Did he actually run in 2008 on increasing our troops in Afghanistan (something Repubs wanted too and clearly voters wanted it or they wouldn't have voted for him)

Nader has done a lot of other things besides criticizing every POTUS including Obama

What else do you agree with him about

Ralph Nader: Barack Obama is worse than George W. Bush

December 3, 2012

In a Sunday interview with Politico reporter Patrick Gavin, the 78-year old Green Party leader said: "On military and foreign policy, he's worse [than George W. Bush]. He's worse in a sense that he's more aggressive, more illegal worldwide. He [Obama] has basically stated . . . that he has the authority to kill an American citizen anywhere in the world if he suspects them of trouble."

Ever the Libertarian champion, Nader - along with most Americans - believe that fellow citizens should be granted due process from our legal and judicial system. Obama's use of drones to kill thousands of targets around the world contradicts the president's 2008 campaign promise of reconciliation. Indeed, just months into his first term the president broke his pledge to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.

When asked to assess Obama's performance in the White House the past four years, Nader said "He's below average because he [Obama] raised expectation levels. What expectations did George W. Bush raise? He [Obama] is below average because he's above average in his knowledge of legality which he is violating with abandon."

I don't recall that quote and of course you didn't bother to post a link

do you agree with Nader on anything other than his criticism of politicians

shall we assume you and Nader share a political worldview?

Ralph Nader: Obama ‘Should Be Impeached’

“Barack Obama is committing the same crimes [as Bush and Cheney], in fact worse ones in Afghanistan. Innocents are being slaughtered, we’re creating more enemies, he’s violating international law, he’s not constitutionally authorized to do what he’s doing, he’s using State secrets, he’s engaging in illegal surveillance, the CIA is running wild without any kind of circumsribed legal standards or disclosure . . . why don’t we say what’s on the minds of many legal experts; that the Obama administration is committing war crimes and if Bush should have been impeached, Obama should be impeached.”

No question

And this coming from Ralph Nader, who though not a Democrat, he is certainly a liberal and he hates George W. Bush.   :-\

Actually, Nader cares very much about consumers and has done lot for you in that regard, more than Obama ever will.

"If you’ve ever nearly been bumped from a seat but got on board courtesy of an instant auction, you can thank Mr. Nader. If you have ever raised your hand and said, “I’ll take the later flight and the goodie,” you can thank Mr. Nader, too."

Fewer Highway Deaths? Thank Ralph Nader
"One man set us on the road to safer driving--my friend and mentor Ralph Nader.  His efforts to improve auto safety by requiring seat belts, air bags, and other safety changes beginning in the mid 1960s have saved hundreds of thousands of lives and millions of serious injuries."

Nader, Paul Sr., and Kucinich are the only three people in Washington you can trust.  That's pretty scary.

Funny you say that.  These same three are the only American politicians I like.  And though the three have very different views(an independent, a Republican/Libertarian, and a Democrat), they have a lot in common too, they are friends and they endorse each other.
