It's funny- I first met Chris at the 1990 Mr California. He won the heavies and overall. I really didn't think he was anything special. I hindsite I finally realized that he was so balanced that nothing stood out as being exceptional- everything was equally really really good.
Of course not. CC was a great bodybuilder- I was no one. Chris made numerous magazine covers- I made none. Chris had thousands of fans- I had none. Cormier's on most people's All Time Top 10 list- I'll never be on anyone's list- except perhaps my Mom's.
Tommy is a Legend. Always real. Always honest. And I know for a fact that he could kick a little ass if he had too. Just saying.
Biggest IFBB Pro? Dillet, Achim, Fux, Michael Francios, Dorian post Olympia every year was crazy. Early 90's Matarazzo was crazy. Biggest bodybuilder dude? Jeep Swenson. Biggest Powerlifter? Kaz, Jon Gamble, OD Wilson,Dave Shaw, Shawn Deer, Lee Moran.
They were friends. James put Jeep in Bulletproof. James Caan was a real cool cat. Here's a pic I took last week in LA at the Metamoris BJJ Tournament. James Caan and Royce Gracie.
The stories Caan's sitting on...
Congrads. You are now an official male groupie.
