I’ve learned that actor James Gandolfini died suddenly in Italy after a suspected heart attack. He was 51. Gandolfini will be forever known for his portrayal of mob boss Tony Soprano on the seminal HBO series The Sopranos, which won him three Emmy Awards. He remained in business with the pay cable network and was in pre-production on a new limited series, Criminal Justice, in which he was to play the lead, one of several projects he had in the works. James Gandolfini Death Hoax Dismissed Since Actor Is ‘Alive And Well’

On Wednesday (June 19) the actor's reps officially confirmed that James Gandolfini is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.

Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved actor. Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.


Then there's this.......I'd rather a long list of proof he's alive but this was linked on Drudge today..the hoax started Tuesday.....

The Sopranos was one of the greatest shows ever to be put on television. He was the back bone of that show.

His ex wife said he would go on a 4 day meth binge every 3 weeks or so and then lay around and eat pizza the rest of the time... Not good for the heart.
