Of course people can get laid anywhere, but if you go to Vegas to have fun, then you pay what you pay.

If you don't want to pay, you don't go to Vegas.

I've scored with a 4 buck Chicken McNugget combo too... I find it interesting that people care how other people spend their time or money.

If you choose not to go to Vegas, great... I have no issue with that either.

What other people do or don't do is of no concern to me. I have lots of interests... Taking my girl to a club and watching her shake her ass  or hitting up the strip joint with my boys and buying some booze are just two of the things I like to do.

If you go out to a bar by yourself and you don't spend 100 bucks, then you just don't go out... That's fine if that's what you choose to do, but how is your bragging about not doing anything any better or worse.

You sound like a hater.

Hater? You can of course spend your money on anything you like. If McDonalds come out with a new "Gold Flake Pussy Magnet Burger" that costs $10k, you can buy it and walk around eating it in "da club" to show how much you are willing to lay down on a burger. You can wash that down with a limited "Gold Label Pepsi" at $500 and make sure you use the special neck-chain bottle holder so that everyone can see what a Playa you are. Sure - you will absolutely guarantee you end up with some dud-fuck Gold digger as well as provide much mirth to the marketing guys that thought up the idea.

Of course, to do either of the above would be dumb. I have no doubt you yourself would take delight in commenting on anyone that laid down $10k on a burger - but it's their money right? It's then a matter of where you draw the line.

Hater? Pointing out that guys are talking about laying down $2-5k for a zero cost item because then some girls might talk to them? Not a hater, it's fucking BRILLIANT. The brilliance though is on the behalf of those taking the $2-5k off you. Fucking amazing idea.

All of the money oriented chat in this thread has been about how much you need to spend in order to get a girl to talk to you.

Whichever way you look at this, it's a rip-off. Sure, it's your cash, give it to some club owner if you like. A girl might talk to you after all and make your year.

Reminds me of these women out here who walk around with Louis Vuitton handbags that they paid $3-5k for. That bag cost perhaps $20-$30 to make. Of course, it is their money, they can spend it on whatever they want. After all, it has a pretty pattern on the side and it shows others that they can pay $3-5k for a handbag. That is what those bags are about and nothing more.

I just wonder what the world is coming to when people are so concerned about displays of wealth. The $2-5k for a Cabana is a display of wealth. It is a way to show your status. To show how high up you are in the pecking order. A display of wealth as a means to attract a member of the opposite sex.  A member of the opposite sex who is interested only in your wealth. A gold digger, a dud fuck.

I'm glad my club days are over if that's what it has come to.

Yes... You sound like a hater.

When someone goes out and buys something completely ridiculous like a 10K burger I certainly don't give a shit if they do.

It's a conversation... I'm sure you have something you do that other people don't get.

Maybe you spend your money going to football or rugby matches... whatever... It's your money so however you choose to spend it doesn't matter to me.

That's the point... people spend money on entertainment how they see fit.

It's not about "getting girls" and the fact that is what you think it's about shows that you don't "get it".

It's about what I find "entertaining".

Agree with this too.

My girl will say, "let's go out, but try not to spend much money" which i appreciate the thought, but if I'm going out, I'm not pinching pennies. Fuck that...I'll just stay home.

I absolutely agree.

But if you get to a restaurant and she orders a $10k steak, do you not draw the line?

Orly so you don't care how people spend their money?

If you're paying 2 grand for less than 4 bottles in Vegas then you are getting swindled.

So - I'm a hater if I tell you that the $2-5k Cabana is a swindle but you are NOT a hater for telling someone 2 grand for less than 4 bottles is a swindle.

You take 2 things that are not related and try to put them together often?

Yes... I can say he's getting "swindled" because that's not the going rate.

If he CHOOSES to spend that as opposed to being REQUIRED to spend it because someone is overcharging, then it's not really the same thing is it?

Now if he CHOOSES to spend some amount of money, then I'm certainly fine with it.

And if you look at the post history, we were actually saying the same thing, so he was in fact, NOT being swindled.

Not really - I just ignore the spurious comments.

You commented about the price someone paid for something as did I. It's the same thing but it weakens your argument when I point out you did what you accuse me of. Do you really expect me to even bother with "but but but it's different  :'(".

I didn't, so now you resort to what has to be said is a really poor attempt at a personal attack. "but but but you can't read very well". Marvellous.

Look - if people need to lay down $2-5k to pluck up the courage to chat to and pick up some silicon encrusted gold-digger, that's OK. On the other hand if myself and the management of the establishment want to have a good old laugh about it, that's OK too. Why do you care what I poke fun at?

It's supply and demand at the end of the day and it seems there is a plentiful supply of idiots.

Funny thing is - if someone with real wealth and/or fame decided to go to that party, they would be comped a Cabana.

We were at Rehab at the Hard Rock last June. Five big shooters from the east coast were next to us they rented a cabana and were living large. When it was time to settle up, they couldn't pay their bill. LVPD were there within minutes and cuffed them and took them away.

Our waitress added our drinks to their tab for hours after their four bottle limit ended.

It's not posh or special...

Tu_Holmes reckons he pays thousands for a Cabana so he can have security to keep the douches away and keep his girl safe when he's "out and about" (not sure mingling or peeing tbh).

I can't recall ever being in a club so Trashy that you need to have your own security and I've been to the largest club on the planet that regularly packs in 6000 people on a Monday night. At that place, there were very few douches, most people were really friendly and there sure as shit was no need for a lot of security.

As I say, that's not posh or special - it sounds more like Compton.

As for the displays of small amounts of wealth - these things are relative. People like to be one up on their peers and usually stretch themselves to do so. This is especially true with new money 'cause new money tends to be low class.

I've never said it was "special".

That is your impression of what people are thinking of themselves.

I've never once said it was something "special". The fact is that thousands of people go o Vegas and get tables and have fun every year.

I've been to clubs all over the world too and to be honest, while some places have been great, others not so much.

I enjoy Vegas as much as any of them.

When I go with my girl she has a good time. That's all that matters to me. She would have a good time with me at a picnic, but I like to treat her to something different from time to time.

The thread has gone from a simple conversation to a shit ton of hateraid for no reason.

You don't like Vegas, don't go. Plain and simple. I will keep going as I see fit.

I didn't respond to the OP to have a bigger dick than anyone, but this is getbig and inevitably these kinds of responses always come.

Pedro, I think you are missing the point about bottle service in Vegas.  A few things you get with it.  One is no admission, and for a group of 4 guys that is $200.  No lines, because if you've been to Vegas on a Saturday night, good luck getting in unless you have 36DDs.  Then they give you a table in a closed off section, but most of the time it is in a prime spot.  There is a dedicated bouncer and a dedicated waitress/bartender mixing drinks for your friends.

A 40 oz bottle of most liquor is $20-$30. Most bars charge $12 and up for any liquor drink, think maybe 30 drinks per bottle, that right there is over $300.  Plus you paid for admission and had to stand around to drink with no where to sit.

So the $400-500 a bottle isn't that far off if you think about it.  Most people are not by themselves.  Mostly it is groups of 6-8, so that is about $75 a person per bottle so if they 5 drinks out of it each then right there it pays for itself.

Now would I spend $500 a bottle?  FUCK NO.  To me that is gambling money that I'd rather spend at a table.

Here's the deal. Depending on the Vienna Sausage brigade one rolls with its much better to get a table inside of a club if you are a group of guys. If you don't then you will end up buying a General Admission ticket, stand in line with all the other square toe shoe wearing loosers, and end up paying $15 a drink being mashed at the bar. The two best places are XS and Hakkasan in terms of quality of women. With a table, women will actually approach you in groups because they don't want to be walking around a club all night long. With said table you can also chat up a bouncer nearby who will tell any girl or groups of girls to get the fuck away if you don't like the way they look. Additionally sometimes hosts will bring groups of girls over to tables of guys pending your group doesn't look like Vince Goodrum, TBombz, True Adonis, Jason Genova, and Robert Burnieka.

FUCKING LOL at square toed shoes.  I wonder how many getbiggers get this reference.  I learned years ago, squared toe shows are a big NO NO. but most Italians, arabs, Asians whatever all wear them with their faded jeans and $80 T-shirts.  hahaha
