Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has been pegged by many as a leading contender in the 2016 presidential race, but a survey out Monday from the right-leaning Rasmussen Reports found his support among Republicans has taken a meteoric fall in recent months.

While the poll showed a majority of Republicans nationwide — 58 percent — still view the junior Florida senator favorably, that amounts to a 10-point dip since May and a 15-point drop since February, perhaps a sign that Rubio's leading role in the immigration reform effort has damaged his standing within the party. Only 16 percent of GOP voters said they have an unfavorable view of Rubio, while a quarter of Republicans are undecided.

Rubio is for an amnesty bill that would drive down wages for Americans and provide the corporation who own the country with cheap labor. Not sure why the GOP doesn't like him.
